Countach was started as a 3 year old by Hilltop Farm under the guidance of USEF National Young Horse Dressage Coach Scott Hassler. He is now a 4 year old and ready to start his show career. He is going solidly walk, trot, canter and remains in professional training.
Details:
Countach is an elegant, uncomplicated gelding perfect for the Jr. Young Rider or Adult Amateur. As a young colt he developed an impressive show record. He was a premium foal scoring an 8.4 at his inspection at Hilltop Farm. As a yearling he showed at Dressage at Devon and placed in the ribbons in a very strong class of over 30 colts. Then, in the Dressage at Devon ISR/Oldenburg class he scored an 80.3% under judge Anne Gribbons, receiving 3rd place behind his full sister Con Dia and his half sister. He ended the year with a bang receiving 1st place Horse of the Year honors for ISR/Oldenburg Yearling colts with an overall average score of 78.65%.
