Dance Star’s grand-sire, Domingo was also a successful sports and breeding stallion. He sired 14 approved stallions and the same number of state premium mares. The paternal dam-line is a highly interesting mare family that has also been very successful. The mare, Suleika, is the dam of 5 approved stallions and 7 of her 8 daughters were awarded State Premium. Her most accomplished daughter is Dance Star’s grand-dam, State Premium Nadin. St.Pr.St. Nadin is the dam of six approved stallions. Her success as a broodmare was recognized when she became the 1992 National Broodmare of the Year. Niklas I, the dam-sire of Nadin sired five approved stallions and 17 state premium mares.
The dam-line of Dance Star AT is no less successful than the paternal line. As stated above, St.Pr.St. Gina has produced 5 approved stallions and 2 state premium mares. Her dam, St.Pr.St. Giana was the 1986 Champion mare of the DLG Show. Giana’s sire is Brillant, a remarkable stallion prominent in the pedigrees of many top German Riding Ponies. Brillant sired 35 approved stallions and 23 state premium mares. Brillant has been one of the top 3 stallions according to the FN breeding value rating since 1995. He has led the FN statistics for procreators of dressage ponies since 1998. A large percentage of his offspring have competed at the FEI levels of the dressage sport.
The dam’s sire is the Elite Premium Stallion, Folklore. He was Champion of his Approvals and was later awarded Reserve Champion of his Stallion Performance Test. He has sired 6 state premium daughters and 7 approved stallions including the Reserve Champion of the Verden Approvals, and the stallion Finestro, who was the Champion of the Oldenburg National Championships.
This 2008 foal by Dance Star AT out of Loretta is an interesting linebreeding of one of the most successful mother-lines in German Riding Pony breeding history. Additionally, it is a combination of dressage pony stallions who have all proven themselves extensively at the FEI level AND have produced offspring who have proven themselves at the FEI level. This should prove to be a spectacular foal. |
DANCE STAR AT (pictured above) is a young, up and coming son of the great Dressman I. Beauty, powerful and cadenced gaits, and a top character - are all combined in Dance Star. He is most fascinating with respect to appearance and expression. Dance Star embodies maximum values in all three gaits plus rideability.
DANCE STAR was the unquestioned Champion of the 2006 Westphalian Pony Stallion Approvals in Munster-Handorf. A "nearly perfect" model of a riding pony was the term Dr. Maharens, (Director of the Westphalian Verband), used to describe the champion who was heading up a group of exceptionally high quality stallions that year. Following the stallions, Der Feine Lord AT, D´Artagnon AT, and D´Artagnon AT II, Dance Star is the fourth licensed full sibling by multichampion Dressman and state premium mare, St.Pr.St. Gina. The fifth full brother of this combination has now been proclaimed Premium Stallion at the 2007 Approvals in Münster-Handorf and has been sold as a licensed stallion to Dianne Knight of Great Britain. In addition, the two full sisters, Dulcinea Chupa and Donnerlittchen have become state premium mares. So, having bred St.Pr.St. Gina to Dressman has produced seven full siblings, five approved stallions and two state premium mares. Each of Dance Star’s full siblings have scored highly at the finals of the German Bundeschampionships. Two of the stallions have been Champions of their Approvals: D´Artagnon I and Dance Star AT.
DANCE STAR AT is now also the 2007 Reserve Champion of the 3-yr. old Dressage Ponies at the German Bundeschampionat. He competed against a very tough class of 25 of the top 3-yr old pony stallions in Germany to earn this title.
DANCE STAR AT’S sire, Dressman I, was Champion Stallion of his Approval and Champion of his Stallion Performance Test. Dressman’s performance record after that is nearly unbeatable by any other pony stallion. From 1991-1994 he was 4 times Bundeschampion under 4 different riders. 2 times Individual European Dressage Champion, 7 times Team European Dressage Champion, 2 times German Master, Champion of the Pony Dressage Derby in Hamburg and Bad Salzuflen, Champion of the German Pony Classics, German Youngster Classics, BRE Pony Trophy, and the list of Championships Dressman has won goes on and on. Altogether Dressman has well over 100 victories in international dressage competition to his credit.
Dressman’s breeding record is just as impressive, having sired 26 approved stallions and numerous state premium mares, including 7 daughters who have been invited to the Elite Mare Shows. In addition, he sired the 2002 & 2003 Reserve Champion of the European Dressage Championships, Don Joshi. |

FS Cracker Jack is a young stallion son of the very successful dressage sire, FS Champion de Luxe.
The dam of this young stallion, FS Do It, is sired by Dornik B and out of the dam, FS Golden Sunlight who is also the dam of FS Don’t Worry.
This sire combines the blood of three exceptional ponies into one and we are very excited about this combination with the blood of Brillant and Diplomat. |

Pieter Pan’s dam, St.Pr.St. Destiny B, was Champion of her mare performance test and participated in the 1999 Bundeschampionat. She is the dam of the exceptional stallion Der Harlekin B.
Pieter Pan’s dam’s sire is again Dornik B, whose extensive accomplishments have been listed above.
That makes this breeding a very interesting line breeding to Dornik B: the most successful dressage pony stallion in the world. |
Pieter Pan was Champion of his licensing in 2004 and in 2005 he was Reserve Champion of his Stallion Performance Test in Munchen-Riem with an overall score of 8.54. He qualified for and participated in the 2005 Bundeschampionat as a 4 yr. old. Pieter Pan descends from the sire line founded by the famous pony stallion, Power Boy.
His sire, the FEI pony, Pan Tau B, began his performance career at the 2001 Bundeschampionat where he received the highest score ever given to a 6-year old dressage pony: 9.7 (second place score was 8.8). He was also the 2001 Rheinland Champion. He was a member of the German Dressage Pony A-Team, competing at many international pony competitions. Unfortunately, he was always in the shadow of the more famous Dornik B, who was his rider’s main FEI pony. And so, in 2007 he moved to Holland where he could take a prominent position on the Dutch Dressage Pony A-Team. Pan Tau and his 13-year old rider immediately became the Reserve Champion of the Dutch Regional Winter Dressage Championship. They won the National Imperial Cup in Zelhem and then became Champions of the 2007 KNHS Dutch Indoor Dressage Championships for FEI Pony Riders beating out the more famous and experienced Power and Paint, who placed second. |
